Balsam Crest Estrelas is Canada’s breeder of the Estrela Mountain Dog, a livestock guardian dog from Portugal. They are extremely rare in Canada and the US and are unique amoung LGDs in being less reactive than most and in bonding more deeply than most with their human families.
We currently have a litter of purebred puppies who will be ready for their forever homes by Valentine’s Day. Both the Dam and the Sire are from pedigreed lines. The pups are being raised in our home with our children. They will be highly socialized and will come with current vaccinations, comprehensive veterinary health check and certification and hip and elbow screening.
